As our team of Mentors prepare our scholars for college, it is incredibly valuable for our most marginalized students to hear and learn from the experiences of others who look like them and come from similar backgrounds. Our staff demographic is diverse and inclusive, with 83% of our employees identifying as people of color. Within this group, 66% identify as Latinx. We are proud to have a team that is 33% women and nonbinary, and we strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Over half of our team, 55%, were first-generation college students, reflecting our commitment to providing opportunities to underrepresented students who may face unique challenges as they continue on their academic and professional journies. Additionally, 50% of our staff speak more than one language, which allows us to better connect with and serve a wide range of students. Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and we are dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that celebrates and embraces it.
