Attollo Recruits take on Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

At Attollo Prep, we believe that “It’s hard to be what you can’t see.” This philosophy drives our commitment to exposing scholars to college campuses, offering them a glimpse into the possibilities that lie ahead. The Fall 1 College Tours are designed to immerse students in diverse academic environments, helping them envision themselves thriving in higher education. By visiting a range of institutions and connecting with alumni who have walked similar paths, scholars develop the confidence and ambition to pursue their dreams. These tours are not just about seeing schools—they are about experiencing opportunity firsthand and expanding what our scholars believe is possible.

Philadelphia College Tour:
A Historic Hub for Innovation and Growth

This year’s Philadelphia College Tour highlights three prestigious institutions: St. Joseph’s University, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Philadelphia, with its rich history and modern vibrancy, offers the perfect backdrop for academic exploration. St. Joe’s emphasizes ethical leadership through its Jesuit values, while Temple University, located in the heart of North Philadelphia, presents a bustling urban environment that prepares students for real-world challenges. Scholars will also explore the Ivy League prestige of the University of Pennsylvania, a world-renowned leader in research and innovation.

Throughout the tour, scholars will engage with faculty and admissions counselors to gain insight into the college admissions process and academic programs. They’ll experience what makes each campus unique, from Temple’s lively student life to Penn’s fusion of history and cutting-edge research. The visit will also introduce scholars to the city’s culture and charm—whether strolling through historic Old City or connecting with students on campus.

To inspire the scholars further, Attollo alumni Tiyya Geiger, Kena Bekere, Alicia Blanco, and Yisak Bogale will join the tour to share their personal experiences transitioning from high school to college. Their stories serve as real-life examples of resilience and determination, showing scholars the power of community and preparation.
