Attollo Recruits take on Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC!
At Attollo Prep, we embrace the belief that "It's hard to be what you can’t see." This principle fuels our dedication to providing scholars with opportunities to explore college campuses, allowing them to envision the future possibilities within their reach. The Fall 2 College Tours aim to immerse students in a variety of academic settings, helping them picture themselves succeeding in higher education. Through visits to multiple institutions and interactions with alumni who have followed similar journeys, scholars gain the confidence and motivation to chase their aspirations. These tours go beyond just exploring schools—they offer a firsthand experience of opportunity, broadening our scholars' perspectives on what they can achieve.
Philadelphia College Tour:
A Historic Hub for Innovation and Growth
This year’s Philadelphia College Tour highlighted two prestigious institutions: Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania! Philadelphia, with its rich history and modern vibrancy, offers the perfect backdrop for academic exploration. Temple University, located in the heart of North Philadelphia, provides a dynamic urban environment that prepares students for real-world challenges, while the University of Pennsylvania stands out as an Ivy League leader in research and innovation.
Throughout the tour, scholars engaged with admissions counselors and current students to gain insight into the college admissions process and academic programs. They experienced what makes each campus unique, from Temple’s lively student life to Penn’s blend of history and cutting-edge research. Students even got to explore Philadelphia's Christmas village!
Baltimore, MD College Tour:
Discovering the Intersection of Heritage and Modernity
This year's Baltimore trip exposed students from Ephrata and Lancaster Catholic to two awesome campuses: the Loyola University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University! Located right up the road from Washington DC, Baltimore is a buzzing hub for students and professionals alike. Loyola University places emphasis on community service and Jesuit values, while Johns Hopkins offers students the opportunity to attend a rigorous and world-renowned research institution. Throughout the tours of each school, Attollo students had the opportunity to meet admissions counselors and current students. The tours also introduced students to Baltimore as a collegiate location. And finally, students visited the Walters Art Museum before heading to Baltimore's harbor for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe!
